The title was originally penned for February 24th, but the title has been delayed because of “uncertainty about the UK retail market”, which can only be in reference to the shaky position of GAME and it’s EU stores.

It’s delay however still makes absolutely no sense as March 9th is the same day that Mass Effect 3 launches, so surely it’s bound for poor sales.

By meeting the $2,000 demands of the collector, he has done what he promised and made the game’s ROM available to download by all. By releasing the ROM, code monkeys now have the chance to mess around with it’s innards while the devoted Resident Evil fanatics get the chance to play a version of the classic game they never had the chance to see.

The trailer shows gameplay between the USS (Umbrella Security Services) and the US Special Ops forces, against the hoards of zombies and mutants. We must say it looks pretty damn good.

Capcom Representative: This Was A Strategy Business Decision.

There you go. Capcom don’t hate you PlayStation 3 owners. And it isn’t a technical issue. Microsoft probably jumped at the chance to bring it to you early with cash in hand, much like Call of Duty map packs.

Capcom have just announced, via their Twitter page that your first chance to get some hands-on time with the newly announced Resident Evil 6 game is to purchase their upcoming game, Dragon’s Dogma come May 25. Sadly though, you’ll only be able to redeem the demo code on July 3, with Playstation 3 owners having to wait a further 60 days, taking them all the way to September 5.

Resident Evil 6 was only announced last week and is only slated to release toward the end of the year, but already we have news of a demo. Will this change anyone’s teetering decisions to buy Dragon’s Dogma?

Those who want to seize the day and pre-order Dogma can enjoy any of the following pre-order initiatives:

-GameStop is offering the ‘Pawn Upgrade Pack,’ which will give players additional Rift Crystals allowing them to “rent” higher-level Pawns from the game’s outset.

-The ‘Armor Upgrade Pack’ offered through Best Buy and the ‘Weapon Upgrade Pack’ from Amazon.com will deliver higher level armor and weapons respectively giving players a real advantage when tackling the toughest of enemies.  Check your local retailers for details.

On top of all this, Capcom will be supporting Dragon’s Dogma post launch with a comprehensive suite of downloadable content including additional quests as well as weapon and armor upgrades.

Finally, the company said to expect more news throughout the day and over the next few months leading to the game’s launch come May 22 for North America and May 25 for Europe.

Little is known about the story of Dragon’s Dogma but from our past experiences the game plays a lot like Dark Souls & Demons Souls but with more fighting combos and not as stiff character animation. Players will go through hacking at Dragons and monsters in this new IP from Capcom. Check out the teaser below that prepares for the full reveal on January 31st on Capcom’s Facebook page.

Dragon’s Dogma is set for North American release on March 27th and Eurpoean release on May 1st on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

They didn’t give any details on the game, so we are clueless to if it’ll be on DS or 3DS nor what features it might contain, but its reveal came at an event marking its 10th Anniversary.

In other Ace Attorney news, the first three games will get a re-release for iPhone 4 and iPad 2, and later Android will also receive this HD bundle of courtroom controversy.

Pheonix Wright, Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations will come with higher resolution artwork for the new platform and you can pick up the first two chapters for free! Extra chapter packs are priced at 600 yen (around £5) or you can pick everything up together at 1200 yen (~£10).

A nice feature allows those who already own the standard Phoenix Wright game to take their save across to the HD version of the game for iOS.

Capcom Digital Collection will release in the US on March 7th 2012 on Xbox 360.

If this is true, six player co-op will be the biggest co-op for the series, and will also be incredibly interesting to see how it’ll all work. Capcom did say they wanted this to be the biggest Resident Evil yet, and featuring six players at once online will certainly help it reach those heights.

Pegged as a survival horror, despite its very hollywood trailer, Resident Evil 6 will release on Xbox 360 and PS3 on the 20th November 2012, with a PC release following shortly after.
