EA Conference Announcements
Today on July 20, 2010 at around 1:00 PM Pacific EA announced around 7 new titles. These titles ranged from downloadable games, expansions, and full fledge games. More titles were also there with more detail before release.
First off, EA was talking about the Sims 3 on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii which will have some features different from the PC counterpart. Along with that is the Sims 3 expansion called Late Night. Late Night will have a lot of features in it, ranging from night time jobs, a night life, clubs, dating, and more. The one thing that did stand out was a vampire type person you can make. Your person in the Sims 3 can become a vampire in the game and hang with your little click.
Next, is Dark Spore for the PC. Dark Spore is going to be an action/RPG with the same abilities as Spore itself. Maxis are developing the game and it looks good to boot. There will be Co-op for the game, along with an AI director to make thing easier or harder for the players. Looting and replay value are the key words here because the game will have a lot of that. Dark Spore will be coming February 2011
Next, is Dead Space 2 Prelude called Dead Space Ignition downloadable for the XBLA and PSN. This will feature the origins of Dead Space 2 and what happened before Isaacs came here, 4 different endings and unlockables for Dead Space 2. The gameplay is very simple ranging from and assault tower defense, racing, and puzzles. All from an art/comic style of graphics. This will be coming in fall 2010
Next, this one people have been waiting for. Alice: Madness Returns and it will be coming for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Nothing much was told about the game itself and more details might come soon.
Crysis 2 multiplayer announcement will be coming to gamescon. SHANK is also coming on August 24 for the PSN and 25 for the XBLA
Another one is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning which will be an Action/RPG. A trailer for the game was also announced to be shown at ComicCon.
Finally, are 4 games from EA Sports. MMA went in detail with their career mode in which will have you make your own fighter by using the PS Camera or Xbox Camera to make your fighter or an preset of faces. From there you begin as an amateur and can fight from many different gyms around the world. MMA will be coming October 19, 2010
Fight Night Champions will be the 5th installment for the Fight Night Series. Not much detail or what to expect from Champions but, they said they will be pushing the realism of the gameplay for Fight Night Champions. Next on the list is Madden 11 which will be put on many of many systems like the 3DS. After that was NFL Training Camp for the Wii which will put you in training as an real NFL player.
This is a great line-up and hope to see more of what EA can dish out and improve on their past titles and what new ideas they can being out with the EA Partners
