Nintendo DS 2 Latest Feature

The speculation has been sky high ever since Nintendo unofficially announced they were already hard at work at creating the new DS 2. Some of the rumors saying that it might even be revealed at the next E3 this year. Which yours truly will be attending to give you the latest gaming scoop, yet the rumor that Nintendo is showing off their latest handheld at E3 is old news. The newest and strongest rumor is that the new DS will feature a rumble feature. This rumor came up right after Nintendo’s legal team filed a patent for a rumble accessory to be added to their new DS. The patent also states that there will be an, “LCD with a touch pad.”

This filing is actually a response to a earlier patent filed in 2005, and described the rumble feature will occur when one strikes an enemy.

This is no different than an Xbox 360 or PS3 controller. When strong attacks mean a stronger rumble and a weaker attack means a lesser one. This is still a rumor however for the unofficially announced DS 2. Still its a rumor to pay attention too. Guess we wont know anything till we hear come from the mouths of the Nintendo spokespeople at E3 in June.
