Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Announced
LucasArts and TT Games have announced the next entry in the popular Lego Star Wars series of games. Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will be based upon the animated TV series The Clone Wars, which itself is set between films Episode 2 and 3.
According to the press release, the game will feature all characters from both seasons of the TV show, and will also feature head-to-head multiplayer for the first time in a Lego game. In addition, players can “play either as a Jedi or Separatist with all-new character abilities, such as Squad command, Lightsaber slicing, Lightsaber jumps, long distance Jedi attacks and Grapple Tie-Ups, all within a new, easy-to-navigate hub.”
Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is set to release in Fall 2010 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Windows. Check out the full press release at http://www.lucasarts.com/company/release/news20100208.html
