Blur Beta To Start In March, Uses Twitter

TheGamersHub recently got a rumor that the Blur beta is set to start  in March. Our rumors turned out to be true when a press release was published, confirming Twitter intergration will also be available along with the beta. UPDATE: Keys are for select public testers (announced via their twitter)

Here’s an example from Bizarre Creations’ Social Media Manager, Ben Ward, using the feature:

We’re excited to show more of this feature in the coming weeks, in fact, you’ll be able Tweet from the Blur Multiplayer Beta that launches in March… so stay tuned!

The Twitter functionality is not just limited to random tweets, theres built in ones for the game itself. In the developers own words:

“Players can choose to Tweet about race victories, how many fans they’ve just earned, cars they’ve unlocked, leaderboard ranks, send challenges to friends and much more.  Basically, if you see it in game and want to tell someone about it, we’ve got a Tweet for that.”
