Battlefield Bad Company 2 Demo Impressions

Back in Nov. 19th was when the PS3 beta was started. Now today (Jan. 28, 2010) is when both the PC and Xbox 360 to have a chance to download the Demo of Battlefield Bad Company 2. The Demo is pretty much different than the beta itself. The Demo features a new location called “Port Valdez” and still shows off the new game mode called rush. It’s huge improvement over the beta. DICE fixed a lot of the animations and graphical issues overall. The Demo has fixed the Kill Cam when in the beta the Kill Cam would sometimes go in the person’s body. The vehicles were also a big issue in the beta when the vehicles were hard to control and now they have fixed the vehicles to move a little more smoothly. The vehicles also had unlimited ammo in the beta and people would just fired away in the APC. The Demo fixed that by limiting the number of shots from the turret and APC main cannon. In the Demo I was also able to control a helicopter and I felt that the helicopter is a little hard to control and land at times.  The sound effects are still great and the gameplay is very smooth. I did have some lag in the demo but, very little. The Classes in the game are the same since the beta and the loading times are still the same. There was a tiny overhaul of the main menu from a slant menu to a straight up and down and side to side menu style. The only problem with the game is the squads and sometimes me and my friends were playing and after a match we would be in different squads or not in one at all.  Overall I felt I was on battlefield. When bombs goes off and shots fired from a distance to vehicle blowing up and shellshock sets in on your character. I like the demo and pretty much a better game and a must for any battlefield fan.
