5 Reasons FFXIII Will Be Better On Xbox 360
Here we are with 5 reasons why the 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII will be better. The game will sell in the millions, we both know that but why not compare if you got both systems and see what the pros and the cons are. So here we go.
5.) You Want The Achievement Points/You Already Have An Xbox- If it’s on the Xbox 360 and you’re a fan, and it’s the only system you have, you are more than likely not going out and buying a PS3 to buy this game. Your going to go with what you have. Now let’s face it, achievements were here first and a lot of gamers prefer them over trophies, and lets not forget their will definitely be avatar awards if Microsoft wants to be smart and promote it a little more. Note: Some info in this article is strictly guessing, and wishful thinking not confirmed.
4.) The Game Was Completed Later So Its Better- The game was completed a while after the PS3 version. According the devs the PS3 version was completed first. More development time = better quality right?
3.) It Has A Different Graphics Engine- The graphics engine is completely different than that on the PS3 so there’s a huge possibility that Square-Enix mastered the less complicated software and could get more than any developer out of it.
2.) More DLC- Their could be downloadable content on day one that we haven’t heard about yet exclusive to the 360, it would make sense to the multiple disc format.
1.) E3 Could Bring Exclusive- E3 could bring an exclusive DLC announcement in favor of Microsofts white box for Final Fantasy fans. What greater stage to make a mind blowing announcement, they did it before.

Uhh…more dev time does not always equal better quality. Too Human comes to mind for one.
And these reasons fail. Its common sense that if u have the system already, ur not gonna buy ANOTHER system for the same game.

i know that, im not favoriting any system here, im looking at it from a point of view of Hey …im gonna buy it for this system..and heres why. to justify the purchase. Just like i justified the purchase in the PS3 article. No matter what system you choose the game is going to be great.

Awesome.. Not favoring a system eh? You never thought about that at first the FFXIII was an exclusive for the PS3, hence the X360 was started a tidy bit later? Or that the Xbox can’t use the same engine as the PS3? Or that those last two are just theories you _WANT_ to happen? This is an lame attempt at flamebait, and you, sir, fail.

Wow, this was so badly written! The PS3 5 reasons was average at best but this one is just full of made up bollocks! Anybody could just make crap up and just slap it on a blog anywhere! None of these reasons are realistic and have no merit or respect for the actual developers!

This has to be the dumbest article in favor of the 360 I’ve ever read, and that says a lot given some of the crap that is on the internet.
First off, if all you have is a 360 of course you’re going to be buying it for that system. Unless you’re like me, in which case you are among the 52% who’s consoles have failed and your 360 is *still* in repair!
Secondly, you mention DLC twice. Given that since the dawn of this fabulous trend of DLC the vast majority that we’ve received has been content that should have been in the game at launch. At least 75% of the DLC we get is stuff that the developers hold back from the retail release in order to sell it for more cash. Day One DLC has to be the worst thing in game design ever. And here you are hoping that we’ll see exclusive Day One content for the 360.
As for the graphics and the possibility that it will look better on the 360 because of the fact it was done after… hehe. Pretty much you’re looking at the exact opposite of what happens with most console games for this generation. Usually the game is developed on the 360, and then ported over to the PS3. In this case it was developed on the PS3, and then ported to the 360. The 360 version gets less disc space, which granted is going to be used for higher res video clips and higher quality audio, but may also mean higher quality textures for the PS3 as well. As for the graphics engine itself, the 360 version has a different engine simply because the original engine isn’t compatible with the 360. This caused the need for a new engine and required more time in importing it. I highly doubt it is going to mean better quality.
I understand your desire to write an article like this, and I even understand your desire for trying to be fair in giving both sides equal treatment, but you seriously need to learn to research better and put more thought into what you write.

Let me ruin each of your five points.
1:Alot of people do prefere trophies over acheivement namely me and people who had ps3 first.. Double edged sword uve got there mate.
2:Actully less development time as it was swapped to 360 after the ps3 version was in development, also alot of sources claim that the small differences are favorable to PS3.

4:Thats wishful thinking, and DLC has been confirmed but not for a system.

Actually, people are used to playing Final Fantasy on Sony’s machine. Most people who buy their first system for this game will buy a PS3, and most people who own both systems will buy it on the PS3 because that is what they are familiar with. Also, they made the game on the PS3 first, and then had to delete HALF the content to fit the game onto dvd9 format. If it wasn’t for the 360, we’d have twice the game. FAIL and FAIL!!!

alright some stupid reason on there and @salesman blu ray won’t make a game better or not in fact most multi system games do look better on the 360 instead of ps3 but there are the few that are better on the ps3……..BUT i have both systems and like them both, typically i but multi system games on the 360 and exclusives on the ps3 but which one is this gonna be better for?

5) what’s the point ?? oh let me think I have the both consoles I don’t care about either achievements nor trophies but the point that many gamers loves achievements on the other hand many loves trophies …
4) have you ever heard about Bayonetta it was completed first on the 360 then a couple of months later completed on the PS3 took more dev time and looks worse many others like this and FinalFantsy is no exception it could be better it could be the same but no one can judge it until both versions are released …

You’re a fucking idiot, they used a different engine because of the difference in the methods of rendering in the PS3 and 360, look at any multiplat game and the difference is overwhelming, some screens look better on the 360 some on the PS3, square have stated they want to provide the same experience on both consoles, this is also why they took more development time, and more time to develop it =/= quality. You’re just a 360 fanboy trying to defend your love for it, and before lol herp derp PS3 fanboy, I don’t have a PS3, because there are few exclusives I want for it.
