e was released on November 2007 on the two major gaming platforms; Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and was later released in April 2008 for Windows.
The game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The genre of the game is styled to be an action/adventure.
Although it has been out well over a year, it is still worth my time to write a review on it.
The storyline of Assassin’s Creed is well structured, where you are Desmond miles; a bartender in the year 2012 where he has been kidnapped as a test subject. He is put into the ‘Animus’ which can stimulates the recall of ancestorial memories which are buried within his DNA. Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad is the name of the ancestor that you play as.
My experience from playing with this game is excellent. I love the free roaming around the settlements assassinating whoever, whenever.
he graphics on the game are outstanding and definetly makes it a real first for Assassins Creed. I suppose it is similiar to the Tom Clancy games which Ubisoft develop, although this is set back in the past. They have currently produced and still are producing Assassin’s Creed 2 which trailers have been released for, showing that they have pushed the boundaries with this game to another extent with different weapon types and other objects and equipment that can be used.
The only downside I found with Assassin’s Creed, is that he could not swim. I understand that it may be due to the sychronisation, but still when i missed a jump from a boat it really was annoying just to die! Also I noticed, however high the building you jump from into a haystack it wont effect your synchronisation, where as if it was health you really should of died from the amount of force and speed you hit it with.
Overall it really is a good game and I cant wait for the next title to be released later this year!
